Running man exercise

10/11/2015

This running man exercise is a great example of a proprioreceptive and stability exercise for the ankle, knee and hip. As the glute muscles, particularly glute med, helps provide stabilisation of the pelvis during walking and running, this muscle also provides activation via stabilising the stance leg during movement of the swing leg. This exercise is also a good one for ankle and knee rehab due to its effects on activation, stability and proprioception.
